What we know about you.

Your measurements never leave your machine. The recordings, the analyses, the filters and your rooms are stored in audiolaz’s data folder on the computer you installed it on. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

Activation. When you type your licence key, audiolaz sends that key, your Roon Core’s identifier, the Core’s name and the version of audiolaz to our activation service. It sends back a signed licence file. That is the only outbound request audiolaz makes. Afterwards the licence is checked on your own machine, offline, for ever — audiolaz keeps working with no internet connection at all.

We keep, for each key: the key itself, the Core identifier it is bound to, the buyer’s e-mail as provided by the store, the sale reference, and the dates of activation. This is what lets us honour a machine change or a refund. We keep it for as long as the licence exists.

The online link. If you use the optional link that lets your phone reach audiolaz from outside your network, requests pass through that relay encrypted and are not stored there.

No cookie, no analytics, no tracking script, no third-party font. The host records the technical data of each request (IP address, browser) in its own logs, as every web server does.

Payment is handled by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the seller of record. Your name, e-mail, payment details and billing country are collected and held by Gumroad under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details. We receive your e-mail address and the sale reference, which we use to issue and support your licence.

You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@audiolaz.com. Deleting a licence record means the key can no longer be reactivated — the licence already installed on your machine keeps working, since it is checked offline.
