Having some trouble with integrating Audiolaz into my Roon. I think the problems are on my side, with too complicated a chain.

Roon Core: running on a dedicated Mac Studio on my Ethernet
Roon Endpoint: Infifgo IS-1 Streamer on the same Ethernet
DAC: Soulnote D-2 connected to the IS-1 via USB

When taking the measurements, I could not get the audio to play through the IS-1, so I disconnected it and connected the Mac Studio directly to the DAC with the USB. I was able to follow the next steps and create the Squeezelite zone; however, when I select that zone it plays through the Mac Studio speakers. Is there a way to run Audiolaz through the IS-1 as Roon Endpoint?

Hi Aric,

Your chain is fine. The Squeezelite zone you created is our player running on the Mac Studio, so it plays to the Mac's own outputs, hence the speakers.

Your IS-1 works as a Roon endpoint and as a UPnP renderer, which gives you two ways to keep it:

  1. Simplest: use Roon's own DSP on the IS-1 zone. In audiolaz Room, on the result screen, choose « Install in Roon » for that zone. The correction runs in Roon and plays through the IS-1 to your D-2 as before.
  2. With our player: set the IS-1 to UPnP mode, then in audiolaz Room open My players › your Mac's player › Output › Change and choose the IS-1. The player corrects the sound and sends it to the IS-1 over UPnP. Play to the audiolaz zone in Roon.

If the IS-1 doesn't appear in that list, tell me which mode it's in and we'll sort it out.
